Fund-a-Thon is the largest national, grassroots fundraiser for abortion access. It is a nationwide event in which participants ask the people they know to donate to their local abortion fund to help them reach a personally meaningful fundraising goal.
In 2025, a total of 77 abortion funds across the nation participated in Fund-a-Thon 2025 and with your help, raised over $2.5M! Nationally, we are hoping to surpass this $2.5M goal again…
Locally, Tampa Bay Abortion Fund (TBAF) has a lofty goal of raising $60,000 for abortion care, by May 31st! This fundraiser is our largest of the year, but we also hope to bust abortion stigma and share information widely about how Floridians can access abortion care. Why is Fund-a-Thon season so important?
This is TBAF’s largest fundraiser of the year, and utilizes our All-Star network of donors, volunteers, and supporters. Through this grassroots fundraising campaign, we bring our community together by hosting events that: celebrate abortion providers, foster joy through Florida’s tumultuous legal landscape, gather our closest friends, and bring in new friends and abortion-access-supporters.
Campaigns like this are important for continuing to fund access to abortion care. In fact, about 55% of funding that TBAF received in 2025 was from individual donors– like those who donate through Fund-a-Thon. Every dollar raised during Fund-a-Thon goes directly towards abortion care and practical support!
